What is your role at Calvary?
As the Director of Next Gen Ministries I oversee the birth - 12th grade ministry. As part of my role, I will also, in partnership with Pastor Angie be developing a parent and caregiver ministry.
Tell us a little about your family.
My wife Linda is a 3rd and 4th grade special ed teacher. We have 2 boys, Luke is a senior elementary education major with a math endorsement at the University of Northern Iowa and my son Adam is a student at Northland Community College in Thief River Falls studying aviation mechanics. We have two dogs, Rey (a 3 year old mini-goldendoodle) and Yoshi (an 11 year old mini-eskipoo).
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work hours?
I enjoy playing nerdy board games, fantasy football (6 time champ), and watching the Vikings, Twins, and of course the Hawkeyes.
What could you give a 30-minute presentation about with no advance preparation?
Why the original trilogy of Star Wars is far superior than any of the other Star Wars movies.
What is your favorite show to binge watch?
Ted Lasso & The Office
If you won a free vacation to anywhere, where would you choose to go?
Norway
