One of the #1 reasons people don’t attend church is that they believe the church is full of hypocrites. They see Christians say one thing, yet do something else. People who say, "God loves all," yet twist the Bible as license to judge and hate. They see Christians quick to point out everyone else’s faults and messes, yet can’t see their own.
So, this week we’re wrapping up our worship series, “Asking for a Friend…” by asking: Why is the church filled with hypocrites?
[[Spoiler Alert]] Here’s why: Whether you are a Christian or not , we’re all hypocrites! Every last one of us. But there’s one thing that makes a Christian different, and we're talking about it this weekend.
We believe wrestling with these questions we all have about faith, rather than ignoring them, is so important and healthy for a life of faith.
