If you are a Christian, you likely don't realize we say things no one else says. Christians use words like “fellowship” and call the entryway to the church the “narthex.” We sing “we are washed in the blood of the lamb.” To outsiders, that's weird. Our words matter. And sometimes our words actually push people away rather than drawing them in.
