Bricks to Bread
Bricks to Bread International is a nonprofit organization that helps build brick ovens for Costa Rican families seeking a sustainable source of income. Brick ovens not only help provide a family with an income, but they also bring communities together. The ovens often become a focal point in the town, a gathering place for community events, and encourage camaraderie by welcoming all to participate in the build.

At Calvary, we’ll embark on a 40 day challenge to provide brick ovens for Bricks to Bread International in Costa Rica. Bricks to Bread builds brick ovens and a commercial kitchen to create a sustainable source of income for families and access to fresh baked goods in rural communities. It costs $3,500 to build one brick oven.
Pray
An exploratory mission team from Calvary will head to Costa Rica to build Calvary’s first brick oven on March 18th. Join the prayer team and receive daily emails from the team with prayer requests.
Volunteer
This summer, we’ll partner with the Community Wood Fired Brick Oven to bake and sell bread supporting the mission of Bricks to Bread. Sign-up to join the volunteer team this summer.
